Download Tips & How to

Instructions

 

Some of our cd's download as an mp3 (cd's with only one track) and those that require directions, have multiple tracks or have prints of the jackets for directions and making your own cd's, come in a zipped (compressed) file.

 

Most computers come with the freely available "WinZip" or some other free unzipping program. Typically you right click on the downloaded zipped folder and choose "unzip or extract" from the drop down menu. You will be asked where to put the unzipped, soon to be usable files. You can do this through the current windows "new folder" button or have previously created a new appropriately named folder on your desktop (or some other easily found location like "my documents"). Unzip the files by choosing that location. (Don't forget to download the original zipped file to an easily found location as well.)

 

Once unzipped you can play the mp3 files straight from your computers media player or load on to an iPod or mp3 player. You can also use your computers Cd burning software to convert the files to an "Audio Cd" (not data) and the burned Cd can then be played on almost all CD and DVD players manufactured in the last 10 years.

 

*note: Directions for programming bird Cd tracks are in the zipped file.
